Mercedes-Benz Parts Catalog on iPhone: Identify Parts with Interactive Diagrams

Find the Component Before Searching for a Seller

When you need a Mercedes-Benz replacement part, searching by a generic name can produce too many results. The same component category may include different versions depending on model, engine, production period or equipment.

A structured parts catalog can help you identify the component first and shop second.

Auto Parts Catalog gives iPhone and iPad users access to a visual catalog workflow. Choose the brand and model, navigate to an assembly, open the parts diagram and inspect the individual components.

Use Diagrams to Understand the Assembly

Exploded parts diagrams show how components relate to one another. This is useful when you can point to a part physically but do not know the exact catalog name.

By moving from assembly to diagram to part, you can identify the relevant component and use the displayed part information as a reference.

Part Numbers Reduce Guesswork

A part number is much more specific than a general product description. Once you have identified a likely number, you can compare suppliers, discuss the part with a workshop or check alternative references.

Because vehicle configurations can differ, always confirm final compatibility before purchase.

Useful Tools for Repeated Searches

Auto Parts Catalog includes search, favorites and cross-reference lookup in addition to diagram browsing. Favorites are useful when you are planning a repair with several components and want to keep the relevant parts together.

The catalog is designed for owners, mechanics, workshops and parts sellers. On a phone, it can be especially convenient when you are standing next to the car or checking a component in the workshop.

Mercedes-Benz Catalog Experience

The app’s Mercedes-Benz catalog experience has been improved alongside its diagram and navigation updates. The same structured flow helps you move from model selection to part details without relying only on text search.

Škoda Parts Catalog on iPhone: Find Part Numbers with Interactive Diagrams

Škoda Parts Catalog Is Now Available in Auto Parts Catalog

Auto Parts Catalog now includes the Škoda brand. The update expands the app’s growing catalog and gives Škoda owners, mechanics and parts sellers another mobile way to identify components using structured catalog navigation and interactive diagrams.

Instead of searching the web with a vague description, you can move through the catalog step by step: choose the brand, find the model, open the relevant assembly, inspect the diagram and tap the part you want to identify.

Why Interactive Parts Diagrams Help

A written parts list is useful only when you already know the exact component name. In real repairs, that is often the difficult part.

An exploded diagram shows how components relate to one another inside an assembly. If you can recognize the location of a bracket, cover, sensor, fastener or other component, the diagram can help you identify the corresponding catalog entry.

Auto Parts Catalog lets you tap a component on the diagram to see its number and details. That makes the app useful when you are standing next to the car and need a quick visual reference.

How to Find a Škoda Part

Start by selecting Škoda and locating your vehicle model. Open the relevant category or group, then continue to the assembly and parts diagram.

Once the diagram is open, inspect the numbered components and select the part you need. Use the displayed part information as a reference when checking availability with a supplier or workshop.

The app also supports search across models and groups, favorites for saving useful parts, and cross-reference lookup for compatible numbers and alternatives.

Part Numbers Are More Reliable Than Descriptions

Search terms such as “Škoda engine cover,” “front bracket” or “cooling hose” can return many visually similar parts. A catalog part number is a much stronger reference.

That does not eliminate the need to confirm compatibility with the exact vehicle configuration, but it gives you a much better starting point than a generic product description.

Who Can Use the Škoda Catalog

Car owners can use it before ordering a replacement part. Mechanics and workshops can keep diagrams available on an iPhone or iPad while working on the vehicle. Parts sellers can use the same visual structure to clarify what a customer is looking for.

The app is intentionally focused on catalog navigation rather than shopping. Its job is to help you identify the component and its reference information first.

Keep the Catalog in Your Pocket

Škoda support was added in version 5.0 of Auto Parts Catalog. The app continues to expand with additional brands and catalog improvements.
